USAID AgroІnvest Project (AgroInvest) is a five-year international technical assistance project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Chemonics International Inc.

The Project was launched in January 2011. Its primary objective was to foster development of the Ukrainian agriculture sector and improve competitiveness of Ukrainian agriculture irrespective of the institutional form and scale of operations.

AgroInvest facilitated Ukraine‘s participation in the Global Initiative for Food Security to strengthen the country‘s export potential. The Project also helped Ukrainian rural residents better understand and protect their land rights and make informed decisions on disposing their property so that their economic situation improves and country as a whole prospers.

USAID AgroInvest focused on three major areas:

  1. Support a Stable, Market-oriented Policy Environment
  2. Stimulate Access to Finance
  3. Facilitate Market Infrastructure for Small and Medium Producers
